Quick Rick Brown Sets Blistering 112 mph FT at SRP INSCA Event

The INSCA Winged Sprint cars returned to the big fast half-mile Spokane Raceway Park race track for the second time in 2007.  Another exciting open-wheel event allowed once again, for this dedicated group of INSCA Club members to put forth a great show for the large crowd at SRP to enjoy.  In both of the events this year this group of racers ran both the Main Events at SRP with no yellows and good hard high-speed racing throughout.

The sixteen year old INSCA "Rookie of the Year" contender, Cole Tupling proved once again that he has the developing driver skills, determination and on-track race craft to continue his exciting first race season's positive results. " I feel very lucky to be able to race hard with these great drivers and I continue to learn more every race about my race car and myself" stated a very excited Cole Tupling after his terrific second place finish to Rick Brown.

The tight "points race" continues on to the final event of the season on September 29th at Stateline Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho with Tony Berry ahead of Justin Popple by only twenty-two points.  The #53 and #19 sprint cars started side by side and finished nose to tail all night long as these good friends and fierce competitors both did their basic jobs finishing third and fourth respectively

Ron Turner, INSCA Club President was all smiles as he recapped this exciting event and the race clubs season in general.  Turner enthusiastically pointed out "The INSCA Club has had a very successful race season here at SRP and at Stateline Speedway as well.  We also enjoyed our successful club event at Mission Valley Speedway at Pablo, Montana.  This is a club that is governed by racers for racers, our fans and marketing partners to provide an exciting brand of open-wheel racing throughout the inland northwest.  I am very proud of our club and its members and we all look forward to our next event at Stateline Speedway on September 29th."
